Denver Union Station adds another $92M hotel-office development at 1801 Wazee St. The $92 million mixed-use development, called Union Tower West will include a 180 rom by InterContinential Hotels Group, 100,000 square feet of Class A office space and 10,000 square feet of retail. The developer is Atlanta-based Portman Holdings and Greeley-based Hensel Phelps Construction Co. The location is one of the most sought-after parcels in downtown Denver because of its proximity to Denver Union Station. Hensel Phelps anticipates completing the construction within 20 months and Hotel Indigo to open in winter of 2016. The project will break ground April 9th.
