Cherry Creek adds another retail space for rent and apartment development called The Steele Creek apartments. The 12 story 232 unit complex will be the first luxury apartment building to be built in the Cherry Creek area in years. BMC Investments bought the property for $15.75 million in September 2012 from Eric Bush – about $838 per square foot for the dirt.  The complex features 16,262 square feet of retail space for lease and plans call for rooftop infinity pool with view of downtown Denver and the mountains. Building design will be U-shaped with parking levels above ground and two wings of apartments surrounding a courtyard.  The estimated $80 million project is expected to be completed by the end of 2014 or early 2015.
