Denver Union Station adds another office building

East West Partners announced plans to build a 10-story office building named The Triangle Building, at 1550 Wewatta St. This would be the third project in the Denver Union Station redevelopment for East West Partners and is a joint venture with Starwood Capital Group of Greenwich, Conn. The two companies already own One Union which is the first speculative Denver office building in downtown area to have fully leased before the completion of construction. The 200,000 square foot office building is estimated to cost $85 million, $425 per square foot and will be comparable to the architectural marvels like The Flatirons Building in Manhattan and will probably be among Denver’s most visible landmarks. The office building will also include 10,000 square feet of retail space and two floors of underground parking. Continuum Partners LLC and East West Partners are in a joint venture called the Union Station Neighborhood Co which is the master developer for the 19.5 acre site surrounding the historic Union Station building.
