Eos office building at Interlocken Broomfield opened its doors last week and marked the first speculative office development in the Denver Metro area since 2009. The 186,000 square foot building is in the middle of applying for LEED GOLD (Leadership inn Energy and Environmental Design) certification from U.S. Green Building Council but hopes to achieve platinum status. The building is already attracting tech companies from Boulder and businesses looking for corporate or regional headquarters. The building features include 100 kilowatt solar panel system on the roof and 18 electric car charging stations. Lease rates start at $21-$25 per square foot.
